Isn't it great to get out into the outdoors? We teamed up with Hema Kasi Patel from Living Streets to do a walk around Aston Park with the great hall in the background. The kids loved the walk and history lesson from the park manager.
As part of the Street Watch project that we have initiated, we have the use of these bikes. Thanks to WMP for sourcing these and we hope to put them to good use!
This year we went to Brean Fun Park not far from Weston Super Mare. An outstanding day and there were very little queues for the rides. Excellent value for money!
Thanks to Dave from Highgate Fire Station and Georgina Johnstone from WMP for organising this day for the kids and allowing us to visit. We had a presentation from Dave and then went on a tour of the fire station. We got to see what the fire engines contain and got hands on with some of the equipment. A great day!
Residents and community members as well as local Police officers all came together to paint over some graffiti on a street wall. Well done to everyone for helping out.
As part of our Sparkling Streets clean-up project, we take the kids and adults who take part in 8 clean-ups every year on a free trip. This year we decided to visit London. We went to the Science museum as well as Hyde Park where we had lunch. Thanks to all those that come out in all weathers to support our clean-up project. See you next year!
