SPARKLING STREETS
Cleaning up our streets
Sampson Road Residents Association have been running our Sparkling Streets clean-up project for many years now. We take pride in our area and this project is helpful in educating our youth on cleanliness.
ROAD SAFETY CAMPAIGN
Making streets safer
We saw a need to improve conditions for pedestrians particularly along the Kyotts Lake Road and Kendal Road stretch, especially after the death of one our much loved residents on this road.
COMMUNITY FUN DAY

We love organising community events, from awards ceremonies to community fun days. Here we put on a fun day in Farm Park with bouncy castles, stalls, face painting and more!
KNIFE CRIME
We want weapons gone!
Sampson Road Residents Association installed the first ever weapon surrender bin in Sparkbrook. Anyone can use this bin - please do use it. Think twice, bin a knife and save a life.
EDUCATION
Demo's and workshops at the local Highgate Fire Station
We thank the local Highgate Fire Station for their help in educating our youth. They have held demo's and also a tour of the Fire Station and vehicles.
COMMUNITY GARDEN
Turning an eye sore into a community garden
We will be transforming a piece of derelict land into a community garden in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society. Watch out for more news!
WALKING FOR HEALTH

We have been working with Living Streets to introduce more walking in Sparkbrook.
STREET WATCH
Patrolling the streets in an effort to reduce crime
We are active in conducting Street Watch patrols in Sparkbrook. Working to reduce crime.
Ayaz is always searching for new ways to improve our community, plus he's a whizz on the computer!
Sabar has been with the association from day one. Still sitting in the top chair!
Javed is a stalwart in the community. Everyone knows him, and he always helps where he can.
